Adult Basketball League

The cost is $215 per person – the fee covers refs, uni, bookkeeping, court use, 10 games, and tournament games
Fridays – 7p-12p
Sundays – 5p-9p
10 teams – up to 10 players per team
Games are 50 minutes long
1. 2 games per week for each team
2. 10 regular season games
3. 10-minute warm-ups
4. 10-minute quarters running clock
a. Clock stoppages in the last 2 minutes of 2nd and 4th quarters
5. 5-minute half-time
6. Two (2) 60 sec and two (2) 30 sec time outs in regulation
7. 5 foul limits per player
8. 2 techs = ejection
9. Single bonus after 5 team fouls, Double after 10 team fouls
10. 3’s are NBA line
11. Overtime = 2-minute running clock
12. All teams will be in league playoffs
a. Bracketed based on record
b. Single-game eliminations

Rules
1. Basketball shoes required
2. Any added late player not on the initial roster at the start of the season incurrs a regular fee plus $50
3. Not liable for jewelry or any belongings broken or stolen in the parking lot or inside the gym
4. Anyone not a member at Courtside Fitness (player or fan) may not use locker rooms or fitness equipment and must confine themselves to the basketball area(s), café, bathrooms, and
hallway by the basketball area.
5. All players on the team must be rostered at the beginning of the season
6. Full or half-court pressing and zone defenses allowed
7. A player will be asked to leave/ejected and possibly be banned from participation without refunds for foul language and fighting.
8. You must be 18 and up to play in the league. May be 17 with parent approval
9. No dedicated team coach is required
10. No drugs, alcohol, or weapons. A player will be asked to leave and may be banned if he/she is under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the game.
11. Suspension from the league for two games if the player accumulates four flagrant fouls and for the season with 6
flagrant fouls.
12. A team forfeits the game if they are more than 15 minutes late.

Pay for services
1. Refs – $25/game
2. Clock and books – $10/game
3. Entrance attendee (checking teams/player’s in at the door) – $10/game
