Welcome to League City’s most competitive and community-driven adult basketball league. Whether you’re here to chase a trophy or just hoop with your crew, Courtside delivers fast-paced games, fair play, and Friday/Sunday night energy all season long.

đź’¸ Fees

  • $50 one-time initiation fee per player

  • $15 per game per player
    Covers: referees, uniforms, court usage, bookkeeping, and all playoff games

Late Player Additions: Any player not on the initial roster at season start must pay the full $50 initiation fee plus regular per-game fees.

đź“… Season Structure

  • 10 Regular Season Games

  • 2 Games per Week per Team

  • All Teams Qualify for Playoffs

    • Single-elimination bracket, seeded by win/loss record

⏱ Game Format

  • 10-minute pregame warm-up

  • 2 x 20-minute halves (running clock)

    • Clock stops in the final 2 minutes of each half if score difference is under 15 points

  • 5-minute halftime

  • 45-minute total game duration

  • Overtime: 2-minute running clock

  • NBA 3-Point Line

  • 5 personal fouls = foul out

  • 2 technical fouls = ejection

  • Single Bonus after 5 team fouls | Double bonus after 10 team fouls

  • Timeouts: 2 per half (60 seconds each)

  • Full/Half-Court Pressing & Zone Defenses allowed

  • Suspensions:

    • 4 flagrant fouls = 2-game suspension

    • 6 flagrant fouls = season ban

  • No drugs, alcohol, or weapons. Playing under the influence may result in removal or permanent ban.

  • A team forfeits if more than 15 minutes late to their game.

  • No coach required—bring your team, we’ll handle the rest.

🧍 Participation Requirements

  • Players must be 18 years or older (17 allowed with parent approval)

  • All players must be rostered at season start – unless a late player addition*

  • Basketball shoes required—no exceptions

  • Non-member access is limited: Players and guests not enrolled at Courtside Fitness may not use locker rooms or fitness equipment. They must remain in the basketball areas, cafĂ©, bathrooms, or hallway adjacent to the courts.

  • Courtside is not liable for lost/stolen items or damage to personal belongings (including jewelry) on the premises or in the parking lot.

  • Any player engaging in foul language or fighting will be ejected and may be banned from future participation without refund
